Airport Transportation

Conference attendees arriving at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta (Airport Code: ATL) have the following options for transportation to the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center and other nearby hotel accommodations:

Taxi Service: Taxi service is available directly from the airport. Follow the signs in baggage claim to direct you to the taxi stand. The cost of travel from the airport to the conference venue is approximately $30 – $40.

Public Transportation: Atlanta offers convenient local rail service directly from the airport through the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). From baggage claim, follow the signs to MARTA and board either the Gold or Red line into Midtown Atlanta. Travelers may exit at either the North Avenue or Midtown Stations to reach the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. The one-way fare on the MARTA train is $2.50 (USD) and may be paid by cash or credit card at the kiosks located in the station. Campus Transportation

Georgia Tech offers the Tech Trolley which provides complimentary service between the Campus Recreation Center and the Midtown MARTA Station, stopping at many locations throughout campus and Midtown along the way, including the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center. Conference attendees may catch the Trolley at the Midtown MARTA station when arriving from the airport and ride it to the Conference Center.
