Conference participants travelling from abroad on non-US passports may require a visa for entry. The US Department of State visa website provides information on whether you require a visa and if so how to apply. Please visit http://travel.state.gov/visa/. It is imperative that you start your visa application process well in advance of the conference as it can take months to secure.
Invitation letters will be sent, upon request, to conference participants only after they have registered and are fully paid. Those requiring such a letter of support must indicate this on their registration forms. For any questions related to the visa process, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If registration payment is made and a visa is not granted, we will offer a full refund up to 1 January 2012. After this date we can only consider refunds on a case-by-case basis.
